Meet the Sacred Sisters

Best friends since middle school, Julie Bjurman and Lauren Aloisio have always shared a deep-rooted love for sound, music, and rhythm—fitting for their Summer Solstice birthdays. From traveling to see bands in their teens to dancing through their early 20s followed by a decade of surrender and transformation through learning tools like meditation, yoga, sound therapy, Usui and Shamanic Reiki, breathwork, life coaching and beyond - their journey has always been guided by the transformative power of intention. After experiencing profound healing through intentional sound, they dedicated themselves to learning, evolving, and sharing their knowledge—ultimately stepping into the roles of teachers and facilitators. Their deep friendship infuses every offering with warmth, joy, and a sisterly connection.

Through their collective work as Sacred Sounds, Julie and Lauren create intentional, immersive experiences designed to harmonize the body, mind, and soul. Guided by the formula pioneered by sound healing visionary Jonathan Goldman—intention + frequency = healing—they craft reiki-infused soundscapes using gongs, crystal and metal singing bowls, ancestral instruments, medicine melodies, and more.

Sacred Sounds offers transformative experiences through sound events, sound trainings, and immersive retreats, inviting participants to attune to deeper states of resonance and inner balance.

We offer both public and private sound healing experiences designed to bring participants into deep states of relaxation, balance, and resonance.

Through a dual-practitioner, reiki-infused soundscape, we guide participants on a vibrational journey using gongs, crystal and metal singing bowls, ancestral instruments, medicine melodies, and more. Each session is carefully curated to facilitate energetic alignment, release tension, and restore harmony within the body, mind, and spirit.

Public Sound Events: Join our community gatherings for an immersive sound healing experience, open to all who seek relaxation, renewal, and inner harmony.

Sound Training

Discover the transformative power of sound healing through our two immersive training experiences, designed for both beginners and those seeking deeper practice.

Intro to Sound Healing Intensive (6-Hour Training)

A retreat-style, immersive introduction to sound healing for those curious about the practice. This one-day intensive blends experience with foundational knowledge, allowing participants to explore the healing potential of sound in a supportive, experiential setting.

Awaken the Alchemy Within (20-Hour Training)

A comprehensive, in-depth training for those ready to deepen their practice. Through guided instruction, hands-on learning, and experiential techniques, participants will gain the confidence and skills to incorporate sound healing into their personal or professional practice.

Both trainings offer a strong foundation in working with gongs, crystal singing bowls, drums, and the voice, empowering you to integrate these tools into your own sound healing offerings. At this time, each training is offered once per year.
